Coach Aaron Mikita

Coach Mikita has over 15 years of coaching and leadership experience.  He has coached youth from age 4 to middle school.  As a two-sport athlete in high school (basketball and soccer), he excelled at soccer as an All-State Defensemen and led his high school team to their first state championship appearance in 30 years. Mr. Mikita has been coaching with Frassati Sports since its inception and was named a 2019 Coach of the Year by the Colorado Soccer Association. He and his wife of 16 years, along with their four children, are parishioners at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Parish in Littleton, CO, where Mr. Mikita has served as a religious education instructor.

Coach Mikita is preparing to work full-time as a sports missionary with Highlight Catholic Ministries. As he continues to answer God’s call to lead youth to Christ through sports, he generously takes on projects without the budget to financially support his time. For example, when his soccer teams are inserted into league play beneath the umbrella of another soccer club, the other club collects all registration fees with no revenue for Frassati or Badano Sports.
